Desert Mother

If I could I would go, now, to live somewhere otherwise uninhabited, for a year.

Desert Mother is a reflection on realizing that you need to be entirely alone exactly when that is impossible.

It is what I can do instead.

In the space between responsible parenting and necessary spiritual crisis, this is a project documenting four weeks, in four seasons, in four landscapes: time claimed back to meet myself entirely outside of ongoing human relations.

The first part of RECOVERY/ DISCONNECT.
